Today’s employers face two certainties: rising healthcare costs and difficulty optimizing preventive care dollars. With growing pressure to deliver results, the real challenge is unifying the data to identify and measure effective health strategies.
Solving this modern day problem requires a modern day solution, which is why LMC Insurance & Risk Management and its partner agencies, including Molyneaux Insurance, have partnered with Springbuk to provide employers with comprehensive insight into historical and future health expenditures, wellness vendor performance, intervention program efficacy, and population health strategy.
Springbuk’s platform enables us to work in tandem with our clients to unify wellness, claims, demographic, and biometric data to identify immediate savings opportunities and track efficacy of wellness intervention programs. With this data we are able to provide actionable recommendations, including: guideline gap analysis, chronic and acute impact analysis, risk profiles, potential cost aversion analysis, physician profiling, and utilization analysis.
“Our partnership with Springbuk enables LMC and our partner agencies to help our clients to better manage the health of their insured population, which in turn leads to reduced healthcare costs, healthier employees, and more strategic allocation of resources,” states Rick DeBartolo, senior vice president.
Springbuk works with leading consultants and wellness solution providers to improve reporting, engagement and results for employer clients. The platform has processed over $7 billion in claims and uncovered nearly $250 million in health savings opportunities within employer groups. More than 1,500 employers turn to Springbuk for trends and best practices in population health.
Leading industry publication Insurance Business America has launched its inaugural Top Insurance Workplaces report for 2018, a fascinating snapshot of the U.S. insurance sector – and Molyneaux Insurance is recognized on this year’s list as a great place to work.
Employees from organizations large and small across the whole of the industry were asked to share what they love and hate about their workplaces – whether it’s great benefits, great resources, great management, or anything else.
From the hundreds of companies that participated, only 51 hit the high standard needed to secure a spot on the list. Molyneaux Insurance was among them.
”One of the great things about this award is that the application and survey was done at the request of two of our newer employees,” said Molyneaux President, Roger Schemmel. “It has long been our goal to be the insurance agency employer of choice in our market. To have these two employees request that we participate in this prestigious award and then have our employees validate our positive culture means a lot to our management team.”
“We’re thrilled for Molyneaux Insurance and all the other hugely successful organizations who made it into the Top Insurance Workplaces report,” said Paul Lucas, Insurance Business America editor. “It’s always a pleasure to recognize those employers who go the extra mile to create a great environment for their workers. We look forward to doing it again – and seeing Molyneaux Insurance on the list again – in 2019!”
The 17th annual Molyneaux Trumps & Tricks Euchre fundraiser was once again a major success! This year the total raised was $19,678! The deserving beneficiaries of the 2017 event were Hand-in-Hand and the Scott County Family YMCA. This brings total contributions from Trumps and Tricks to over $254,000 for local Quad City charities! Without the participation and generous contributions of the players, our sponsors, and Molyneaux team, this event would not be so successful.
We are already looking forward to our 18th year. The Scott County Family YMCA and Child Abuse Council will be the 2018 beneficiaries. If you are not already on our mailing list, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org so you receive an invitation and can join us in supporting these amazing charities.
Molyneaux Insurance has been awarded a 2017 Top Workplaces honor. The Top Workplaces lists are based solely on the results of an employee feedback survey administered by WorkplaceDynamics, LLC, a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement. Several aspects of workplace culture were measured, including Alignment, Execution, and Connection, just to name a few.
“The Top Workplaces award is not a popularity contest. And oftentimes, people assume it’s all about fancy perks and benefits.” says Doug Claffey, CEO of WorkplaceDynamics. “But to be a Top Workplace, organizations must meet our strict standards for organizational health. And who better to ask about work life than the people who live the culture every day—the employees. Time and time again, our research has proven that what’s most important to them is a strong belief in where the organization is headed, how it’s going to get there, and the feeling that everyone is in it together. Claffey adds, “Without this sense of connection, an organization doesn’t have a shot at being named a Top Workplace.”
“To be named #6 out of the top 75 small employers in the State of Iowa is a significant honor for us” says Roger Schemmel Jr., President of Molyneaux Insurance. Schemmel added “There is no better compliment than for us to be recognized by our employees for providing a culture that results in a great place to work. Our goal is to be the employer of choice in the Quad Cities. We are working hard to attract, reward and retain the best professionals available. We know that engaged employees result in an exceptional customer service experience for our clients.”
