Homeowners, Renters and Condominium HOMEOWNERS
A Homeowners policy can be written in many different forms to cover your specific ownership situation. If you own your home you need to be sure to include the following as part of your Homeowners coverage package:
RENTERS INSURANCE
If you are currently renting an apartment or residence, you still have a need for insurance, specifically a Tenant's Homeowners policy to meet the needs of renters. This policy provides coverage for your personal property and includes personal liability and medical payments coverage to protect you in case of an injury. Be sure to talk to your agent about adding replacement cost to your contents coverage.
CONDOMINIUM
As a Condo owner you may have a unique ownership situation. Be sure to review your Condo Association Organization documents and by-laws to determine your insurance responsibility. How much coverage you need for the dwelling itself may even be stated in the contract. Pay special attention to the value you assign to your personal property.
