- Stop! Do not throw away
any damaged property.
- Contact the police in
the case of vandalism or theft.
- Make any emergency repairs
necessary to avoid additional damage.
- Report the claim promptly

- Make a list of damaged
or stolen items.
- Locate any prior purchase
records for damaged or stolen items.
- Keep all receipts for
materials and replacement items.

Keep track
of the time that you spend on making repairs and/or cleanup.
- STOP! Do not leave the scene.
- Seek medical attention for
anyone injured.
- Have someone call the police
immediately.
- Do not discuss the accident
with anyone but the police.
- Do not discuss your insurance
policy limits with anyone.
- DO NOT ADMIT FAULT!
- Write down the names, addresses
and phone number of all witnesses.
- Obtain names, addresses
and phone numbers of all persons involved in the accident. Year, make,
model and owner of other vehicle(s).
- Fill out an "In
Case of Accident" form, if possible,
with information from the other driver.
- Call our office as soon
as possible after the accident to speed the proper reporting of your
